Common courtesy isn’t as common as it once was. People on the highway are discourteous, people on the train are discourteous, people at the airport are discourteous, and too many of our colleagues and superiors are discourteous with each other. It seems the pressure of the workday and the desire to succeed at all costs has allowed us to become rude and boorish to our coworkers and subordinates.
